The Chicagoan Magazine was published from 1926 to 1935. Despite being a copycat of The New Yorker in graphic design and editorial content, it was a fantastic magazine that portrayed Chicago as a place of glamour and stylish sophistication, countering its image as a place of violence and vice. His artists included Raymond Katz (aka Sandor), Nat Karson, Arthur Hugh Ruddy, H.O.Hofman, Lester Gaba, and many others.
